Esta celebraci\u00f3n honra las luchas hist\u00f3ricas de las mujeres paraguayas por el reconocimiento y la participaci\u00f3n activa en todos los \u00e1mbitos de la sociedad.<br>Este a\u00f1o, la conmemoraci\u00f3n destaca el papel esencial que desempe\u00f1aron las mujeres desde la Primera Asamblea Americana de Mujeres, celebrada en la ciudad de Asunci\u00f3n en 1867 durante la Guerra de la Triple Alianza.
